Helao Nafidi Private Hospital (HNPH) is a proposed modern private hospital, elegantly set in the town of Oshikango in the Ohangwena Region of Namibia. The building's striking exterior of dark grey, light grey and white shades reflects the warm hues of the sky, creating a harmonious blend with the semi-arid landscape around it.
The hospital's modern form is accented by its high-tech design, while expansive windows invite soft, warm sunlight into the interior spaces. Inside, polished floors, hygienic ceilings and clean walls create a calm, pristine environment that combines the warmth and compassion of healthcare with high-tech medical sophistication — unique not only to the Oshikango area, but the Northern Region as a whole.
HNPH is an upcoming 60 beds Nursing Units which consists of: modern Surgical Theaters, VIP Maternity Ward and Delivery Unit, General Ward for Male and female patients. Ultra-modern Digital Imaging ( Radiology), sophisticated Intensive Care Unit equipment( ICU), Pediatrician Unit, Laboratory Unit, Pharmacy, Doctor's Consultation, Chemotherapy and Renal Dialysis Unit with Helipad with Emergency Services ( 24 hours Emergency/Casualty)

The hospital is in active development. The full 3D architectural design — by JM Architects Workshop of Windhoek and Ongwediva — was unveiled in January 2025, covering everything from the front facade and main entrance lobby to the intensive care unit, casualty unit, maternity and general wards, paediatric ward and hospital canteen.
Since then, the building plan has been approved and a bankable business plan completed, laying a solid foundation for sustainability, investment and long-term success. On 30 April 2026, stakeholders, community leaders, partners and citizens gathered at the HNPH site for a stakeholders engagement that strengthened collaboration and our shared vision: one goal, one mission — better healthcare for all.
